Community Mural Projects that I have led in Boulder, Colorado and for the University of Colorado. The distinctive Flatirons, a local rock formation, are prominent in a few.

Community Mural of the Flatirons above Boulder that I designed and directed the painting of as seen after Day 1. Painted on the Flatiron Theater on the Hill in Boulder with cooperation of the City and Urban Frontier. My students and members of the Hill community helped paint it. It is the 6th collaborative mural I have orchestrated. It remained in tact from 2011 - 2016.

Videos of it and the 7th collaborative mural I did on the Fox Theater can be found at:

This mural was stolen from Libby Hall during the Spring 2015 move out. We hope one day to get it returned to us.

"Unless We Live with Art, We Can Never Understand It" Each student painted or collaborated on a single letter. Most were not artists and it hung in the Libby Residence Hall at the University of Colorado until stolen. Painting it was a first week ice breaker for the Libby Residential Academic Program.

Other murals we have painted had parts cut out of them and were stolen piece by peice. We'd keep reparing and replacing the holes until we gave up. They really brighten students' spaces and clearly they love them given all the thefts.
